Insurance company Highmark is launching (un)Hungry, a community movement dedicated to addressing the issue of food insecurity in the United States during the holiday season. Highmark asked for a timeless character-driven film that would communicate their mission for years to come.
Their script was inspired by a real neighborhood pantry, a story about one little girl’s quest to help that brings together a community.
Tonic DNA created a CG film with a tactile painterly style and stop motion sensibility. From hair painted in virtual reality to hand-embellished strokes on the 3D sets, this is a film where the details shine with heart.
