This project was developed for the launch of the BlueAnt X3D portable speaker.
The key feature of the X3D is its 360-degree sound. That is why the visual idea of the film was built around the sense that sound is literally everywhere.
We wanted to convey a phantasmagoric experience: the feeling of drowning in sensations, an endlessly moving rave where sound takes over the space, the body, the light, and the camera.
The key visual feature of the project was the combination of different shooting principles. We merged 360-degree panoramas with 180-degree shots compressed into the familiar 16:9 format, in order to expand the perception of sound spreading around the product in all 360 degrees and filling the space with vivid emotions. This created an environment where the viewer seems to be inside the music, while the space continuously shifts around them.
Human movement became a separate layer of this visual system. We worked with professional dancers whose performances were captured using a 56-camera volumetric setup — a technology that allowed us to transfer real people into a 3D space while fully preserving the complexity of their body movements without losing physical authenticity.
The final film was used as digital advertising in the Australian market and was presented at CES 2024 in Las Vegas on a 12-meter screen. The project transforms the main feature of the X3D into an immersive visual experience, where sound completely absorbs both the surrounding space and the viewer.
