Over 150 creators from across Latin America convened in Rio de Janeiro for an exclusive TikTok experience celebrating the Live Battles feature. Osllo Mídia approached the event not simply as something to document, but as an opportunity to create an advertising video for the platform itself. The live experience was transformed into a strategic campaign that positioned TikTok’s Live Battles not merely as a feature, but as the central narrative of the video.
In doing so, Osllo Mídia extended the impact far beyond the people on-site, elevating traditional event coverage into branded storytelling and ensuring that every creative decision highlighted the essence of the feature promoted at the event. To achieve this, motion graphics and TikTok’s platform-native transitions recreated the dynamics of live interaction, while elements such as real-time comments and seamless cuts were carefully woven into the narrative. One of the most striking moments was the use of on-site brand activations, where creators dove into blue and red boxes to visually represent the PK Battle function, TikTok Live’s competitive format in which two streamers go head-to-head in real time.
The campaign was delivered the very next day, producing more than 50 pieces of content that amplified the launch of TikTok Live across multiple channels. By embracing the multicapillarity of digital culture and embedding platform-native aesthetics into every scene, the video set a new benchmark for how features can be communicated, allowing the audience to fully experience the mechanics of the platform within the piece itself.
