AI-generated Pulp Noir Sci-fi Novels - Season 2

Sake + Sci-fi + Artificial Intelligence = A series of kitschy AI-generated pulp noir novels.

Why? Great question. Farthest Star Sake is one of the only sake breweries in New England, and the proprietor (aka our client) is a self-described sci-fi nerd. Thusly, the branding, theme, and design of the space is littered with references and imagery related to his favorite genre. Space! Aliens! Beverages named with intergalactic nomenclature! It’s as fun and unique as it sounds.



So to evolve the on-premise work we’ve done for them last year, we thought that drinking their ridiculously good sake would only be better with something amazingly ridiculous and absurd to read. With that in mind, the idea for a sci-fi-themed series of pulp noir novels, prompted thoroughly by humans, and executed soullessly by our future robot overlords - ChatGPT and MidJourney - was birthed by the meat blobs in our skulls and brought into the world.

The first batch of books revolved around our hero, Tanner Stallion, and his band of merry shipmates as they survey the cosmos, looking to expand their sake empire while evading all manner of alien foes. In the first three stories Tanner and Company experience a cosmic betrayal, and robot girlfriend who attempts to steal their IP, and the space criminal known as Zorgron the Blargonian.

Those books were so successful, our first run of 150 copies was gone in less than a week. So we go to work on a second series of books. This time starring Ace Thunderstone battling a evil, giant, floating telekinetic head, a hunky alien that attempts to steal his girlfriend, and an unlikely duo that helps Ace save and expand his sake empire.

Our continued AI efforts have not only brought and kept more customers in the brewery, but they continue to expand our capabilities as creatives, finding novel ways to execute on briefs with new, futuristic technologies.
