For the 2026 FIFI World Cup, the international football/soccer tournament, will be held in Canada, USA, and Mexico. The assignment is to create an advertisement that is eye-catching and original for the United States (USA) leg of the tournament, specifically the games that will be played in Los Angeles, California. The main design is of a soccer player in the air kicking the soccer ball while the silhouette of the player is draped in 'the American flag.' For international events, flags are often used to showcase the country, in this case, USA. The other main image in the piece is a silhouette of the FIFI World Cup trophy. The image of the trophy is often used in previous World Cup ads spanning decades. For this reason, the trophy was made part of the ad, albeit it with a modern spin - World Art. The designer used real soccer terms for the words used to outline the shape of the trophy and the outline of the soccer ball at the top. The larger and more bold words used highlight the name of the event. Los Angeles is known as, "The City of Angels," which is appropriate to use in this piece. The designer included the City of Los Angeles emblem. The ad shows the name of the event and dates of the games to be played in Los Angeles, California, during the USA middle leg of the tournament. The colors of red, white, and blue are bold and vibrant and coincide with the colors of the American flag... and American pride.
