To celebrate the launch of its first-ever $50 Scratcher, DC Lottery set out to create a campaign as bold as the game itself. The goal was clear: generate excitement, capture attention, and drive sales for this milestone ticket.
The creative concept drew inspiration from the scratcher experience itself. Each scratch creates a distinct sound and rhythm—tapping into the anticipation and energy players feel as they reveal their potential winnings. We brought that sound to life, transforming it into a central creative element of the campaign.
DC Lottery partnered with Taoti Creative, ANTI HERO Productions, and Georgetown Post to turn this idea into an ad that brought the fun of the scratcher to life. Together, we took over a café in Washington, DC and reimagined it as an immersive showcase for the new $50 Scratcher. The space amplified the theme of rhythm and sound, surprising customers with an experience that was as fun and dynamic as the game itself.
By merging the tactile excitement of scratching with live, interactive energy, the advertisement did more than announce a new ticket—it gave players a chance to feel the thrill of discovery in a completely new way. This bold approach not only captured public attention but also reinforced DC Lottery’s role as a source of entertainment and innovation in the city.
